The dance of creationACT I
The Beginning of the Divine Search
Shiva:
I stand in stillness, void of thought,
A peaceful silence, yet all is sought.
From this, the quest begins for truth,
The search for Being, a call from youth.
Brahma:
What is this call, so deep, so wide,
That echoes through the vastness, side by side?
I, the Creator, give birth to forms,
I weave the threads of life’s many storms.
Shakti:
I am the power, the force within,
Through me, the world begins to spin.
The dance of life, both death and birth,
I give it movement, I give it worth.
Shiva:
You, Brahma, create, and you, Shakti, give life,
But I, the Destroyer, end all strife.
Through me, all things are unmade,
In the silence where all worlds fade.
Chorus:
What is this search, this endless quest?
To know the truth, to find the rest?
In the void, the light is born,
In the silence, worlds are torn.
ACT II
The Dance of Dualities
Shiva:
Behold the dance, where light and dark collide,
Where opposites in unity reside.
I am the stillness, yet I am the flame,
In me, both death and life are the same.
Brahma:
I am the maker of the worlds,
In my hands, all creation swirls.
From my mind, the rivers flow,
From my thoughts, all beings grow.
Shakti:
I am the power that makes things real,
I give the world its shape and feel.
Through me, the universe is spun,
The dance of life has just begun.
Shiva:
But without destruction, life cannot be,
For in the end, all must be free.
I am the end of all things bright,
The stillness after endless night.
Chorus:
Two opposites, yet both the same,
In the dance of life, they play the game.
The search for truth is found in light,
And in the shadow, endless night.
ACT III
The Return to the Source
Shiva:
I am the Source, I am the end,
In me, all truths shall blend.
Through me, all things are born and die,
In me, they live and pass on by.
Brahma:
From the void, I came, and now I see,
All things are One, both you and me.
In your silence, I find my breath,
In your stillness, there is no death.
Shakti:
Through me, the world is made anew,
In my hands, all life breaks through.
But in the silence of your gaze,
I know the truth that never sways.
Shiva:
All is born, all is destroyed,
In my silence, all is void.
The quest for Being is but a dream,
A fleeting thought in a river’s stream.
Chorus:
The search for truth is the search for me,
For in the One, all things are free.
In silence, I am found, and lost,
The path of truth comes at a cost.
ACT IV
The Journey Beyond the Self
Shiva:
The Self is but a fleeting thought,
A passing shadow, a dream once caught.
In the stillness, all things fade,
And in the silence, none are made.
Brahma:
In creation, I find my place,
In every form, I see your face.
From nothing, all things arise,
And in that nothing, truth lies.
Shakti:
I am the power that makes things whole,
Through me, the universe plays its role.
Without me, there is no life,
Without me, there is only strife.
Shiva:
In stillness, I transcend the self,
Beyond all forms, beyond all wealth.
The journey’s end is but the start,
For in the silence, all depart.
Chorus:
The journey’s end is but a new beginning,
A dance of life, a new world spinning.
The search for truth will never cease,
For in the end, all will find peace.
ACT V
Eternal Beatitude (Ananda)
“I am seated in the heart of all.” (Bhagavad-Gita XV/15)
Shiva:
I sit at the heart of all things,
In me, the truth that silence brings.
I am the end, I am the start,
I am the truth that fills the heart.
Brahma:
In me, creation finds its form,
Through me, the universe is born.
In every breath, in every thought,
The world is made, and truth is sought.
Shakti:
I am the force, the breath of life,
Through me, the world ends all strife.
I am the dance, the song, the light,
Through me, all things are made bright.
Shiva:
I am the stillness, I am the sound,
I am the truth that’s all around.
Through me, all things are known,
In me, all things are grown.
Chorus:
In the void, the truth is found,
In the silence, all things abound.
The search for truth is the search for me,
For in the One, all things are free.
Shiva:
Thus, I am the end, the beginning, the truth,
Through me, all things return to their youth.
The journey ends in stillness and peace,
In the One, all things find release.
